The top floors of the BIC building, the spaces on the 3rd and 4th floors, are intended for networking events (3rd floor), the spaces on the 4th floor can be rented by companies and organizations for their important private meetings.
3rd floor: BIC Moose Club
The 3rd floor of our building is the space where we organise network meetings: the BIC Moose Club.
Originals Meetings (OMs) are meetings of the Originals network where Startups and Scale-Ups talk about their experiences and the development of their respective company.
For instance, the meetings of the ORIGINAL program usually take place in the BIC Moose Club.
The ORIGINAL program organizes the s.c. Originals Meetings.

4th floor: the BIC Moose Business Club
Following the completion of the BIC Moose Club on the 3rd floor, the creative space for networking meetings of innovators, work is now underway on the realisation of a unique project in the heart of Zwolle’s city centre.
The BIC Moose Business Club, located on the top floor of one of the most remarkable historic buildings in Zwolle's city center, is part of the Bleufinger Innovation Center (BIC).
This 4th floor offers meeting space for your special requirements with privacy and comfort. You can rent this floor per half-day, purely as a meeting venue, or "dressed up" with lunch or dinner.
You may even enjoy dessert on the roof terrace with a view of the Grote Markt, St. Michael's Church, Sassenpoort, anPeperbus.*

Our blue-green Climate Adaptation roof
When granting the environmental permit for the construction of the fourth floor and the new roof design, the municipality of Zwolle requested several measures from us, including the capture and temporary storage of rainwater.
Although this requirement was probably unfairly imposed, we made a thorough investigation about the current state of affairs regarding Climate Adaptive Measures.
BICcap project
The BICmooseCap project aims to realize the first climate adaptation roof in Zwolle's city center. This will be a beautiful showcase, where visitors are welcome to learn how it works and how a blue-green polder roof can be realized.

A retention roof is a roof designed to temporarily collect and delay rainwater.
why that moose?
The Bleufinger Innovation Centre is dedicated to the collaboration between the Netherlands and Sweden in the field of innovation. Both countries are leaders in innovation, but have different focuses.
In the Netherlands, innovations are often focused on technology (the manufacturing industry). In Sweden, innovations are primarily focused on societal needs (IKEA, Spotify, Klarna, etc.) or on the intersection of people and systems.
The founder of the BIC was educated in both cultures.
This was partly the inspiration for the logo: Moose Philip. Moose Philip, the moose at the heart of our logo, was a couple of years ago, the lead moose at the moose safari park in Markaryd, southern Sweden.
A moose is a peaceful "loner," with a clumsy appearance but a graceful movement among bushes and shrubs in forests and swamps. Mooses are generally solitary. In winter, however, they can gather in small mixed herds. An adult female, then, is the leader in such groups.
Many smart innovators often start out solo (or with a friend).
But a key requirement for a successful, fast-growing company is that, during the scale-up phase, the innovator quickly develops into an inspiring leader and that the company is led by a professional, comprehensive, and close-knit management team.
Hence our payoff: "Innovative Teams."
